We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in the hospitality sector. Responsibilities
Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the establishment, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective teamwork and productivity.
Help with food preparation and cooking as needed, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary to meet operational demands.
Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and best practices in hospitality and food production.
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
Monitor cleanliness and organisation of work areas to uphold hygiene standards.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Knowledge of food production processes and culinary techniques is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by operational needs.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.
A passion for food preparation and an understanding of current culinary trends.
Must be willing to work in kitchen and be trained in BOH procedures.
