Westside Rodeo is a Country Western themed late night bar situated in the heart of Edinburgh on the bustling George Street. It has fast become a City favourite!
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced late night bar environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for creating unforgettable experiences. As an Assistant Manager, you will support the daily operations of the bar and front-of-house, ensuring high standards of customer service.
Assist in managing bar operations, including menu development and production.
Supervise and train bar and floor staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Ensure compliance with licensing safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and support for professional development.
Assist in scheduling shifts and managing labour costs efficiently.
Working with security to ensure safety standards are kept at a maximum
Competent with computing software and forward thinking.
Working with the Managment team in developing a fast growing, Scottish owned, 3 venue Business.
Skills
Proven experience in team management within a similar setting. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on motivating and guiding staff. Knowledge of stock control and driving profits. Understanding of high standards of service and guest experience. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and customers. A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
