Assistant Management Accountant

Reporting to: Finance Manager

Location: Remote

Hours:

Full time (Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week)

Salary: 45,000 Per Annum (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

You will be a key Role within the department to support and drive business decisions by ensuring the data posting quality is exceptional and to support any ad hoc reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:

As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will be accountablefor the following:Posting all month end journals covering accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, labour allocations each month Supporting the monthly opex reviews with completion of the reporting packs Actualising budget model Completion of the monthly excel reporting pack including headcount analysis Comparison of variances against budget and correction actions Balance sheet reconciliations and monthly movements In depth analysis of inventory movements Analysis of supplier spend with trend analysis Monthly supplier reconciliations with Group Finance High level metrics on performance of Pos Raising all Sales Invoices Posting of metrics in Sage Heavily supporting annual year end reviews and annual budgeting process Producing analytics on recharges to Service and Build Partners Support NOI recharge process and management of aged receivables Cost of Sales analytics with operational support to understand variances

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Proactive self starter Ability to self check work with checks and balances Attention to detail with high level of accuracy Intermediate excel Previous experience in a finance team accountable for Financial Journal postings Previous reconciliation skills with the ability to compare data from multiple sources Previous experience in a fast paced environment Strong communication skills when working across the company providing support and problem solving Strong co-ordination and organisational skills to manage various stakeholders across the business
