Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant \xe2\x80\x93 Atlantic & Rhino

A little bit about our team:

The Financial Planning team provides business support to the labels and other key areas of the business.

Your role:

This role is responsible for supporting the Senior Financial Planning Director of Atlantic & Rhino on financial planning and ongoing business support across both divisions. The role is a combination of budgeting, forecasting and month end responsibilities in addition to assistance in preparation of analysis for distribution to senior management

Here you\xe2\x80\x99ll get to:

• Monitor and continually review the marketing project budgets for the labels with Product Managers, to support the Director\xe2\x80\x99s label budget management
• Prepare final monthly marketing financials, including review of POs, and corresponding variance analysis for the labels
• Update label forecast models for monthly product sales units/income actuals
• Prepare and provide commentary as necessary on monthly balance sheet reconciliations and income statement accounts
• Prepare weekly new release streaming tracker & monthly development artists tracker & assist the Senior Financial Planning Director with any additional analysis for label senior management
• Prepare and assist with finalising the labels\xe2\x80\x99 artist profit share statements
• Undertake specific product marketing budget analysis, as directed by the Senior Financial Planning Director
• Assist in the review and delivery of label monthly Project P&Ls
• Prepare product P&L\xe2\x80\x99s to set pricing for new catalogue releases
• Prepare month end fixed cost journals and variance analysis
• Assist the Senior Financial Planning Director with forecast and budget specifics as required
• Carry out other ad-hoc duties as required within the label finance teams

About you:

• Studying towards a professional qualification CIMA/ ACCA
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills and an ability to work through problems logically.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels within the business.
• Diligent with excellent attention to detail.
• Initiative, drive and strength of character.
• Commercial awareness and business acumen.
• Ability to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
• Flexible attitude towards working hours around key Finance deadlines
