JOB OVERVIEW: The Assistant Management Accountant reports into the Financial Controller and provides day to day financial support to The Evolution Measurement Group. MAIN DUTIES: Account Payable & Receivable:

  • Accounts Payable and Account Receivable Reconciliation on Monthly Basis
  • Registration and Processing of Invoices for Payment
  • Processing Staff Expenses
  • Preparation of Weekly Payment Run
  • Ensure customer statements are sent and chasing customers for payments accordingly
  • Updating Customer Accounts with cash receipts and allocations accordingly
  • Submission of quarterly VAT Returns
Cash and Bank Management:
  • Weekly & Monthly Bank Reconciliations for all group accounts
  • Cashflow forecasting and reporting of all group accounts
  • Posting of Credit Card expense
Management Accounts:
  • Management of the UK Month End Reporting Process and Timetable
  • Month End Reporting for other group entities when required (France, Italy, Germany, US)
  • Assist with preparation of the Management Accounts in Global Shop
  • Monthly Sales and Cost of Sales Reconciliation
  • Monthly Reconciliation of All Balance Sheet Accounts
  • Ownership of the Fixed Asset Register and performing audits when required
  • Daily Reconciliation of the Inventory and GRNI accounts, performing stock audits when required
  • Monthly Reconciliation of the Intercompany Loan Accounts
KEY SKILLS:
  • Foundation in an accounting qualification ie. AAT or similar or actively studying
  • Basic IT Skills, but advanced user of MS Excel. Working Knowledge of ERP/MRP system, in particular Global Shop Solutions ERP/MRP would be a strong advantage
  • Good communicator and an effective member of a team
  • Effective business acumen
  • High level of numeracy
Applicants should live within 30/45 minutes of the Andover office. Hybrid working could be considered for this role. No Agencies. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits:
