We are looking for an experienced and skilled Assistant Lawyer to join our team of highly successful personal injury lawyers in our Manchester OR Liverpool office. You will be engaged in a challenging and rewarding caseload of predominantly non-portal and fast track value cases, including assaults at work.
With a passion for blending your technical expertise with your outstanding communication and client care skills, you will take pride in delivering a first-class legal service to our clients. Having the confidence and ability to take appropriate daily decisions on cases to ensure swift progression, will be key to your success. To ensure you thrive in the role, we will provide you with structured supervision, coaching and training as well as a nurturing environment, where you can grow and shape your career.
You will have significant experience of running non-portal fast-track cases from start to finish. Therefore, you will need to have excellent knowledge of the law relating to personal injury and the litigation process, including experience of having run cases to trial. In addition to this you will also have experience of dealing with the portal process.
The role requires excellent prioritisation skills and meticulous attention to detail to enable you to construct clear and effective arguments, yielding the best result for our clients. You will also be a team player and will enjoy engaging in marketing and business development opportunities.
A day in the life of an Assistant Lawyer is never the same, however a typical day may include carrying out relevant investigations, obtaining relevant documents and preparing witness statements.
We believe that attracting talent that reflects the diversity of the communities within which we live and work is a key part of our business, which is why we are an equal opportunities employer.
In the first instance you will be contacted by our Talent Team for a telephone interview (no longer than 30 minutes) who will discuss the opportunity with you if you match the requirements of the role.
