We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and maintaining high standards within our establishment. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive work environment and enhancing guest satisfaction.

Duties

Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of the establishment, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Supervise Bar staff and ensure adherence to Allergen and safety regulation standards. Oversee team management, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations for all staff members. Work with the bar team to develop menu items that align with guest preferences and seasonal offerings. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all employees. Handle guest inquiries and complaints effectively, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Assist in managing inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency. Support marketing efforts to promote the establishment through various channels, enhancing brand visibility.

Skills

Proven experience in a hospitality management role is essential. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams. Background in bartending is required. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and staff alike. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for providing outstanding service within the Bar or restaurant industry.
