About the role:
Working within the Ecommerce team, the Assistant Ecommerce Merchandiser is a product specialist and will bring a series of some of our top key brands to life online and within our retail store.
This role will be responsible for supporting the merchandising team to ensure all products for our exciting sports and lifestyle brands are merchandised to maximise sales and conversion. Working closely within the wider ecommerce team you will ensure a coordinated approach to activities and to enhance the online customer journey.
You will also be hands on with the stock management of our retail store, U-Xplore.
Reporting into the Ecommerce Merchandising Manager, the primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
Review daily and weekly sales, identifying strengths and weakness, proposing and taking action to increase sales.
Ensure all required products are set up and available for customers to search and view and that all product attributes, images, specifications, product associations and attachments meet the site standards working with our design team to provide the best solution.
Ensure all products and categories added are enhanced with specific web copy and ensure copy is SEO and customer friendly as directed.
Continually review merchandising of site searches, navigation and listings and proposing actions where required to maximise sales.
Work with the logistics team to ensure all products are added to the website correctly and in a timely manner.
Compile accurate stock and sales reports.
Create and distribute key insight and product performance reports to the wider business.
Select products to feature in email and social posts based on stock and sales, in-line with the marketing calendar.
Help the wider merchandising team with range planning and forecasting for future seasons.
Work alongside merchandising and store team to range product for our retail store.
Input stock transfers onto stock system for weekly deliveries to store.
About you:
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about product and merchandising within the digital space, with a keen interest in keeping track of new developments within the industry.
Develop solid knowledge of our brand portfolio, channels and processes.
Experience working with a leading CMS such as Shopify / Shopify Plus.
Develop stock management experience in the eCommerce space.
You will be an excellent excel user.
You will develop a key understanding of web analytics; tools, reporting and insights.
You will have a passion for improving user experience and conversion rate performance.
Educated to degree or equivalent level, ideally in a relevant subject.
Ability to build effective relationships and present to your ecommerce team.
Experience working within a retail-led industry is desirable.
