The Assistant Director (Legal Services) will be a strategic leader with operational responsibility for the University\'s Legal Services team. This is an interesting and varied role with responsibility for providing a full range of legal services in relation to domestic and international commercial matters, consumer law, student matters, and a wide range of property matters including high value transactions, contracts and litigation. Our team is currently undergoing an exciting transformation and as Assistant Director (Legal Services) you will play a pivotal role in its success by leading a service re-design project to review and deliver an effective, digital first, integrated Legal Services provision.About you
The successful candidate will be a legally qualified strategic leader with significant knowledge and experience of contracts, corporate governance, information governance, intellectual property, public and administrative, company and charity law. You will have experience of influencing others at a senior level, leading a high-quality Legal Services team and driving service re-design and continuous improvement initiatives. You will possess exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to empathetically lead a team, build and maintain trust and to develop effective working relationships within both internal and external stakeholders.Additional Information
