Fairmont Windsor Park are looking for an Assistant Chief Engineer devoted into turning moments into memories for our guests. We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Chief Engineer dedicated in delivering amazing service all day every day.

As the Assistant Chief Engineer at Fairmont Windsor Park, you will assist the Chief Engineer to ensure a smooth and effective running of the entire Fairmont Windsor Park building and grounds. The Assistant Chief Engineer will be hands on with the engineering team and assist\xe2\x80\x99s in maintaining and improving the Fairmont Windsor Park standards of operations, help manage, train and develop the team.

Your job is to help maintain the building and grounds to the Fairmont standards without compromising the guest experience. In order to deliver on this promise, it all starts with the right attitude and eagerness to provide seamless service to our guests at every opportunity.

What we are looking for:

A focus towards guests and the entire hotel\xe2\x80\x99s Health and Safety as a crucial part of this role.
Someone who will always retain the hotel and its fabric in excellent condition, ensuring the facilities, plant areas, operations and amenities are in full working order.
Someone who can design and implement planned preventative maintenance programmes including the servicing of all plant equipment.
A competent \xe2\x80\x98hands on\xe2\x80\x99 person who will ensure all hotel services, systems, fixtures and fittings are maintained in perfect working condition and will assure all defects are corrected promptly.
An effective communicator who can liaise with all contract labours ensuring, service visits are recorded and that satisfactory standards of work are achieved.
A proactive approach towards maintaining adequate levels of materials and spares to allow immediate rectification of faults and ongoing provision for the Planned Preventative Maintenance programmes.
Experience in a similar role in a hotel is highly desirable but not essential
