Duties
Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking.
Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring that all team members are performing their duties effectively.
Help maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
Participate in menu planning and food production, contributing creative ideas for dishes.
Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, managing inventory levels.
Collaborate with the team to ensure timely service during peak hours
Skills
Proven experience in a restaurant or similar environment is essential.
Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising and managing a team.
Excellent culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen equipment operation.
