A growing womenswear fashion company is looking for an assistant buyer to join its in-house London team. This innovative company make trend led sustainable fashion.

As the assistant buyer you will be responsible for buying across all categories.

Responsibilities include:
-Create a balanced assortment encompassing creativity and commerciality
-Management of product development process to ensure critical dates are met and product is ordered and approved
-General critical path management, lab dip, bulk, print approvals and fitting garments with the garment tech and buyer
-Great understanding of current and upcoming trends and seasonality
-In depth knowledge of new brands and creative ideas for collaborations
-Build excellent relationships with the supply base, using best negotiation skills

If you have excellent brand knowledge and grasp of fashion forward trends and have a directional eye while understanding the need for a commercial balance, this is an opportunity not to be missed.

The ideal candidate will have have buying experience within a clothing category at Senior BAA level ready for that next step
