Job Description

We have an opportunity for an Assistant Baker to join the team at our Bakery at Riverbridge Business Park, Cardiff, CF23 9FP . You will already have some experience of working in a professional baking environment and will contribute to the production of all breads and pastries, in line with our reputation for high quality Scandinavian artisan products. The role consists of helping our bakers at the end of the baking shift, getting organised and doing prep for the following day. You will be responsible for tasks such as measuring and preparation of products, and other duties as required by the Bakery team.

You must have previous commercial kitchen experience and understand the importance of cross contamination procedures, and have a minimum of a L2 Food hygiene certificate. You will be required to meet all relevant Health & Safety and Food Safety Standards.

You will also need to be very organised, be able to follow instructions given to you by the baking team. You will be working as part of small team, and, at times, on your own.

from 11.45 per hour
Training will be provided on specialist products

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
