We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Assistant Administrator to support our administrative operations within the construction sector. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day administrative duties of construction projects, ensuring smooth communication between our internal departments, main contractor and subcontractor clients. Provide timely documentation and efficient coordination of office functions to support our client relations and projects team.
Key Responsibilities
Working alongside our Head of Client Relations to ensure the highest level of service is delivered to our clients.
Assist in preparing and maintaining required documentation, including account and feedback reports.
Support the Head of Client Relations with administrative tasks, including setting up of subcontractor accounts on our CRM system
Accurately track and update the progress of subcontractors' accounts, timelines, and deliverables.
Organise, prioritise and maintain your daily activities
Handle communication with internal teams and subcontractors, as required.
Schedule and prepare for online meetings.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications Preferred:
High school diploma or equivalent business administration qualification.
Previous experience in administrative support, preferably in the construction industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or Google (Docs, Sheets, Mail)
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of construction processes and terminology.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.
Willingness to learn and grow within the construction industry.
Familiar with the use of Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Work Environment:
This role is based in our Maidstone offices, Monday - Thursday, 28 hours per week
