Job Description
Axon Moore are partnering with a small business based in Ancoats, Manchester, who are looking to appoint a Temporary Assistant Accountant for a 6-8 week period. The role is based in the city centre with excellent transport links.
The company are looking to help with all transactional invoices, journals and reconciliations, supporting the Head of Finance.
Salary - Up to \xc2\xa330,000 per annum based on an hourly rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing all invoices
- Maintaining a clean purchase and sales ledger
- Reconciliation of supplier statements, credit card and bank accounts with a high level of accuracy
- Resolve supplier queries and invoicing errors in a timely manner
- Credit Control
- Journals
- Expenses
- Other ad-hoc accounting duties as required
- Experience in an all-round accounts role or similar accounting position
- Experience with accounting software would be an advantage
- An AAT or similar qualification would also be an advantage
- A strong work ethic - proactive in your work, showing initiative
- Team player, positive attitude and happy to help the wider team where needed
- Good attention to detail and able to work to a fast pace where necessary
