We are currently searching for an Assistant Accountant to join a growing and dynamic organisation. In this role, you\'ll join a team of professionals and be responsible for various accounting and financial activities.

As the Assistant Accountant, you\'ll have the opportunity to develop your financial skills and knowledge while having the chance to make a real difference to the business\'s future success. You\'ll be involved in a range of tasks and activities, including:

Currently this role is mainly home/remote working with potential to be 2 days a week in Bristol Office.

Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping and accounts production
• Recording transactions
• Reconciling reports to third-party records
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly VAT return as well as corporation and personal tax returns
• Monthly financial statements,
• Payroll preparation
• Assistance with preparation of year end accounts.
• Maintenance of sales, purchase, and nominal ledgers.

• You will be AAT qualified or ACA part qualified.
• Have a strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• You will have sound knowledge of double entry bookkeeping.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
