Job responsibilities

The role focuses specifically on Investment Middle Office Services (IMOS) Asset Servicing and will involve the below:

  • Leading initiatives relating to new client onboarding and process or system enhancements, and participating and leading meetings at the operational level impacting ref data management and change processes
  • Ownership of Asset Servicing system configuration to control risk and maximise scalability
  • Analysis of custodian data and system exceptions to drive process improvements and the change agenda
  • Reviewing and approving business requirement change documents provided by Vendor in connection with system enhancements
  • Partnering with custodians, vendors, technology and processing teams to resolve queries and deliver any required change
  • Responsibility for asset servicing systems reference data setup and the maintenance of accurate records
  • Managing fund transitions and liquidations in partnership with IMOS Asset Servicing Operations teams and other internal stakeholders
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
  • Good balance between analytical skills and interpersonal skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to face off to very demanding stakeholders, managing their expectations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to identify, understand and address operational and technical issues
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop relationships across the various stakeholders including senior business executives
  • Motivated and able to deliver with minimal supervision, whilst working effectively in a team
  • Candidate must have a control focused agenda and understand all potential impacts internally and to the client.
  • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work and meet the client\'s expectations
Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities
  • Full lifecycle Asset Servicing product & process knowledge with particular focus on income and tax reclaims
  • Financial markets product knowledge and understanding of the transaction lifecycle
  • IMActions processing and system configuration experience preferred
  • Digital skills (Alteryx, UiPath, Owl DQ) experience desirable.
