The world of energy is changing. Working at National Gas, you'll be touching the lives of almost everyone in the UK because you'll be shaping the way we use and consume energy for generations to come. We're navigating through an exciting time as we evolve to meet net zero targets for 2050. Building our Asset Management Plan (AMP) will put you at the forefront of evolving the UK's gas infrastructure to meet these targets.



As an Asset Manager, you'll develop a clear, well justified AMP to optimise how we spend consumers money efficiently in a rapidly changing energy industry. You'll work across the organisation to build relationships and bring stakeholders together to form a cohesive AMP, optimised across multiple engineering disciplines and asset types.



You'll also incorporate input from a wide variety of stakeholders and incorporate their input to continually improve our AMP.



As part of our hybrid working approach, this role offers a mix of office working in Warwick and home working. You'll need to be able to travel into the Warwick office approx. 2-3 times a week.

What we're looking for:

Essential -

Engineering and/or asset management knowledge Understanding of/experience in a regulated business Experience of asset management tools, risk quantification and management Experience in investment and business case development (cost benefit analysis and engineering justification) Experience of whole life cost analysis Stakeholder management skills Experience working with technical experts
Desirable -

Understanding of gas transmission plant and equipment Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering, numerate or science discipline or relevant experience Full UK car driving licence
