The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of physical assets including generation, transmission, and distribution infrastructure. You will ensure optimal performance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and cost-effective asset utilization to support long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement asset management strategies and frameworks in line with ISO 55000 standards.
Maintain and update asset registers, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems.
Conduct condition assessments, risk analysis, and lifecycle cost evaluations of utility assets.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to support capital planning and maintenance programs.
Monitor asset performance KPIs and develop improvement plans to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health & safety standards, and environmental requirements.
Support digital asset transformation initiatives, including asset tagging, GIS integration, and analytics.
Lead audits, reporting, and stakeholder engagement regarding asset performance and planning.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Asset Management, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in asset management within the utilities or energy sector.
Solid understanding of power systems, infrastructure lifecycle planning, and maintenance strategies.
Proficient in asset management systems (e.g., Maximo, SAP EAM) and data analysis tools.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards (e.g., ISO 55000, PAS 55).
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with risk-based asset management and capital project planning is a plus.
