Job Description


This is a position that can offer an Assembly Operative the opportunity to join a market leader manufacturer, working regular Days Monday to Friday with overtime available on a weekly basis, along with ongoing training and progression opportunities.

Due to an increased demand, they are looking for an experienced Assembly Operative to join the team on a temporary to permanent basis at their new site.

Duties of the Assembly Operative:

  • Assembly of conveyor chains
  • Adding links to pins
  • Operating and running semi-automated machines
  • Report any breakdowns to line manager
  • Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
Experience of the Assembly Operative:
  • Experience of mechanical assembly advantageous
  • Be able to use various hand tools
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven experience of working within a manufacturing environment
What is in return for the Assembly Operative:
  • Starting rate of \xc2\xa311.00 per hour
  • Hours are \xe2\x80\x93 7.45am \xe2\x80\x93 4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 3.45pm Friday
  • 41.5 hours per week, with overtime available at an uplifted rate
  • Free onsite parking available
  • Temporary to permanent opportunities
Ideally you will have previous experience of working in an engineering/manufacturing environment.

Commutable from Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Barnsley, Wakefield, and surrounding areas.
