I am working with a client who are looking to bring in a Assembly Operative in to their site based in Halifax. The role would suit someone with assembly experience. If you are looking for a big company with a family feel this is definitely the role for you.
Responsibilities of a Assembly Operative
- Working from drawings to ensure the product is put together correctly.
- Using various hand tools to fit components into a mold
- work to the company\xe2\x80\x99s H&S guidelines
- Would be advantageous if you can operate a FLT Truck
- Responsible for measuring and cutting of materials.
- Quality checks before the mold leaves your workstation.
- Liaising with other parts of the Production team
- Learn other departments to advance your knowledge
- Worked in a previous Fitting Environment
- Able to read Engineering drawings.
- An eye for detail.
- Knowledge or experience in a molding environment would be advantageous but not essential.
- 25 days + Bank holidays
