The team you\xe2\x80\x99ll be working in Working within the Production Department on the assembly lines, you will be responsible for the assembly of our prestige lawn mowers. Besides, your immediate peers, you will also work closely with our logistics and operational teams on a day to day basis to ensure that we deliver a great result for both the customer and our business. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing So that you can get a feel for the job, here is what you will be doing day to day: \xc2\xb7 Sub assembly and assembly of professional mowers manufactured in house \xc2\xb7 Work to standard operating procedure (SOP) \xc2\xb7 Highlight and assist in problem solving any quality issues and complete any paperwork as instructed \xc2\xb7 Assist in overcoming production related problems with regards to quality and build \xc2\xb7 Report any potential material shortages \xc2\xb7 Participate in continuous improvement/ lean manufacturing activities \xc2\xb7 Ensure production targets are achieved \xc2\xb7 Complete predelivery inspection (PDI) and associated paperwork on finished machines \xc2\xb7 Final inspection and packaging of finished machines, accessories and spares \xc2\xb7 Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed \xc2\xb7 5S house keeping \xc2\xb7 You may be required to perform such other and/or additional duties within your skill and competence as the business may require What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to succeed \xc2\xb7 Mechanical assembly experience including hydraulics and electrical \xc2\xb7 Ability to use technical manuals, drawings and standard operating procedures \xc2\xb7 Technical knowledge of machinery and understanding of how to manage and maintain their continuous working \xc2\xb7 Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative \xc2\xb7 Ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet production targets \xc2\xb7 Driving licence preferred due to rural location More about the job Hours of work are 40 hours per week: Mon - Thurs 7.00am \xe2\x80\x93 4.30pm, Friday 7.00am \xe2\x80\x93 12.15pm. Salary: \xc2\xa324,000 - \xc2\xa328,000 per annum based on 40 hours per week.
