ASSEMBLER - PERMANENT ROLE Finish at 1pm every Friday! Our client is a very well established and successful manufacturing company who are looking to recruit an Assembly Operative to work at their Head Office within a busy and supportive team. There will also be career progression within the company. The role of Assembly Operative is busy and you will work with a wide range of products and components . You will be given comprehensive training on the products and on- going support will be provided. You will be based in a friendly team and the working environment is very positive and relaxed. Some of the main duties will include: \xc2\xb7 Assembling components to create sub-assemblies \xc2\xb7 Handling small components \xc2\xb7 Assembly and testing of hydraulic cylinders and pumps \xe2\x80\x93 largely mechanical assemblies \xc2\xb7 Assembly of pope fittings, etc. \xc2\xb7 Fitting small amount of pre-made cables \xc2\xb7 Testing range of different components \xe2\x80\x93 working to a high level of detail \xc2\xb7 Completion of Test Certificates and Packing sheets \xc2\xb7 Conducting some manual tasks The Candidate \xc2\xb7 You will be good with your hands with strong attention to detail \xc2\xb7 Have a keen interest in anything mechanical \xc2\xb7 Enjoy assembling components and enjoy working with your hands \xc2\xb7 Strong work ethic \xe2\x80\x93 good time keeping, etc. \xc2\xb7 Sense of humour! \xc2\xb7 Enjoy working in a team \xc2\xb7 Desire to commit long term to the business This is a permanent and secure role and you will be based in a friendly environment and really friendly team and there is progression for an individual who is committed and enthusiastic.
