With a shared commitment to the ongoing safety and compliance of our property portfolio we are looking for an Asbestos Compliance Advisor to join our growing team.
Providing a high quality administrative support to the Asbestos Compliance Manager as our Compliance Advisor you will support a range of quality, technical and compliance duties in our commitment to safety within our properties.
We are currently aiming to carry out asbestos management surveys of all of our properties to ensure compliance, the key element of your role will be act upon asbestos surveys. Inputting data, ordering surveys on properties and ensuring recommendations and actions are acted upon.
You will assist in reviewing licenced asbestos removal contractor\'s risk assessments, method statements, and collating all relevant documentation, asbestos removal data for updating into the asset compliance system.
Please note, reasonable travel will be required. This is a fixed term contract until July 2024

More about you
To ensure success in this role you will have a proven record of asbestos data compliance within the housing sector, potentially within a housing association or an asbestos removal company. You will be familiar with data started within an asbestos register and the associated operational and data approaches. Having a previous work history managing asbestos consultants and removers would be ideal. It would be beneficial for you to hold an asbestos related qualification although this is not essential.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to provide accurate and up to date data is key to success in this role. You will be a strong communicator and work well within a growing team.
