Job Description
As an ASB Officer, no one day will be the same. You will provide a high quality, proactive, and responsive ASB management service to residents and support services to the Neighbourhood Housing team.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Provide proactive support to the Neighbourhood Housing team to identify and investigate instances of anti-social behaviour
- Assess whether preventative intervention or legal action is required
- Take and draft witness statements in preparation for legal action, arranging support and protection (if required) for witnesses
- Use clear communication methods to manage customers\xe2\x80\x99 expectations regarding their ASB case and possible outcomes
- Regularly evaluate and suggest amendments to procedures to maximise the effectiveness of enforcement
- IT literate
- A good working knowledge of the law as it applies to ASB, domestic violence and hate crime
- Previous experience of working with ASB cases and complaint resolution
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to negotiate confidently and effectively
- Experience of presenting cases at Court to support the ASB process
- Full UK driving license with access to a vehicle
