Art Instructor Harrogate

Justteachers are looking to find a passionate instructor of Art. The role will be 3 days a week with the possibility of 4 and will be on a permanent basis with a working interview to ensure the school is the right fit for you.

Classes generally have 6/8 students of varying abilities; therefore, it is imperative you are confident planning inclusive sessions. There will also be TAs in the class. They are looking for a dynamic positive instructor.

The school is looking for a passionate teacher/instructor who will be a breath of fresh air for the students. Someone who will inspire children of all abilities and ages to be creative within Art.

You will:

Demonstrable ability to interact with/deal with students. This may include work or life experience in dealing with children/young people from previous jobs or roles in a work-related environment.

Good understanding and good empathy with school age children and the range of behaviours often exhibited by them.

Passionate about Art.

Shortlisted candidates must have proven experience in the UK.

Experience with behavioural and mental health difficulties would be advantageous; however, the school are open to meeting with strong mainstream teachers.
