Art and Design Teacher - St. Albans, Hertfordshire - Education and Training

In the heart of St. Albans, a lovely Secondary School are on the hunt for an Art and Design Teacher.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Art and Design Teacher who is keen to add value to an expanding Performing Arts Department. The school is renowned for their supportive SLT, and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

The school are well invested into the Education sector setting new teaching practices, as well as training their own and new staff. It is an exciting time at the school!

An experienced Art and Design Teacher can take on a TLR such as KS3 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility and more. Newly Qualified Art and Design Teachers (NQT) will be enrolled onto the schools very own bespoke ECT induction, as well as work alongside a range of young & experienced Art and Design Teachers.

Start: April 24

Pay: \xc2\xa3160 to \xc2\xa3240 a day

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining.
• Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
• Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a \'Good or Outstanding\' level.
• You must be able to work as part of a large team of Art and Design Teachers
• Must be willing to listen to feedback.
