Star OUTiCO is recruiting for an exciting position as an Area Sales Manager! Our client is a leading Ophthalmic company; dedicated to developing innovative products that support eye care and health. They are seeking a successful and motivated Glaucoma Specialist to join their Medical Team.
The purpose of the role will be to identify opportunities to maintain and grow our clients\xe2\x80\x99 business whilst building an extensive knowledge base of the current market environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets and acquire new formularies
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers in the NHS and private sector
- Understand customer needs and the environment in each key account
- Develop a business plan to achieve overall business objectives
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent experience
- ABPI qualified, preferable
- Ophthalmology experience, highly desirable
- Substantial secondary care Key Account Management experience
- Able to influence NHS staff at various levels
- Proven success achieving sales success
- Awareness of NHS policies and structure
