We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Marketing Manager covering the Middle East region on behalf of Leonardo Electronics UK. The role covers the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman. This is a role key to the company's export growth through the discovery, initiation and support of active and strategic marketing and sales campaigns.
What you will do:
Lead the new business winning plan for the Middle East
Work closely with UK Sales Teams in focussed and successful Business Winning activity
Provide latest marketing intelligence to support sales opportunities
Establish a good close working relationships with the End User/Customer community
Build strong relationships with Government staff in DBT DSE and embassies
Manage existing and new advisor/local partner contracts
Attend Middle East exhibitions and conferences
Maintain close coordination with the company's corporate offices in the region
Lead a marketing strategy for local collaboration with in-country industrial partners
What we need from you
A track record of pro-active management and leadership working with diverse teams to a common business winning goal
Excellent communication skills
A good knowledge of the Middle East market, politics, understanding culture and importantly local behaviours
Agility and responsiveness with End Users/Customers requests (may be out of hours)
A strong current or potential understanding of the Leonardo Electronics UK products and services
Demonstrable experience on discovery, qualification and translation of market opportunity to winnable business
Ability to operate with customers and stakeholders at a wide range of seniorities and experiences
Persistence, pragmatism and structured approach to tasks and teams with different objectives
