Summary

We have a unique opening for an Architectural Technologist with a focus on supported living and care accommodation design. In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work on practical design solutions, bridging creative concepts with real-world construction. Our partners personally oversee projects, ensuring quality, cost control, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate to organise and investigate technical information, keeping projects in check.
• Address health and safety considerations in design.
• Understand how design impacts performance and functionality from the start.
• Evaluate environmental, legal, and regulatory aspects.
• Assist in planning and regulatory procedures.
• Ensure necessary surveys are completed.

Develop and refine project briefs. * Create design proposals using CAD and traditional methods.

• Coordinate detailed design information.
• Manage the design team and consultants.
• Advise on material selection.
• Prepare documentation for approval authorities.
• Provide tender information and construction specifications.
• Conduct design stage risk assessments.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of architectural technology experience.
• Some experience in heritage projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with ArchiCAD is a bonus.
• Knowledge of architectural and construction regulations.
• Effective communication and project management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective time management.
