Bennett and Game are currently assisting a Multi-disciplinary Practice in seeking a personable, design skilled Architectural Technician to join their Education team in their Stockport based office. Our client are considered experts in the design and management of properties within numerous sectors, predominantly the Commercial, Education, Ecclesiastical and Residential sectors.

You will be responsible for creating technical drawings and construction drawings using AutoCAD & Revit. Our client is also looking for an individual to lead the CAD Team within the office allocating resource and manging junior members of staff. The technician will work collaboratively with the design team, and will contribute to the development and delivery of architectural projects.

Architectural Technician Position Remuneration

• Competitive Salary (\xc2\xa328,000 - \xc2\xa345,000 DOE)

Architectural Technician Position Overview

• Predominantly working on Education projects with prospects of various other sectors.
• Work for a practice that are widely regarded to be the Education Property Experts.
• Provide a range of professional services, principally in architecture and surveying
• Day to day Architectural duties could include: Strategic Space Planning and Rationalisation, Access Solutions, Feasibility Analysis, Due Diligence/Development Monitoring, Contract Administration, producing designs using AutoCAD
• Liaising with other departments within the business, including Surveyors, Architectural professionals, engineers and site staff

Architectural Technician Position Requirements

• Degree qualified, ideally in Architecture
• Strong knowledge of Architectural Technology and Architecture
• Experience and proficiency with Technical and Construction Drawings
• Proficiency in CAD Software is required
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing demands
