We have an excellent opportunity for someone eager to join our Manchester Studio on a 12-month Fixed Term contract.

Stride Treglown is an employee-owned, carbon neutral architecture practice. We were the first of the top 100 UK practices to join the purpose-driven B Corp community.



We create long-term positive impact for our clients and the communities we help shape. We do this by designing better places, building resilient partnerships, and empowering people.



Our multidisciplinary team of 330 architects, designers, and specialists deliver nationally significant projects from nine regionally embedded UK studios. Collectively, we offer our clients deep local knowledge and national specialist expertise.

About you





This is a fantastic opportunity to use your design skills on a variety of exciting projects within a diverse and growing team, working with senior designers and technical team members to deliver your designs and progress your skills and career.


You will have




A desire to create and deliver great buildings and places for people to inhabit Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience working in a high quality, design and delivery focused practice Experience of leading projects from concept to delivery Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team - building rapport and creating positive relationships Excellent drawing and presentation skills and the ability to explain a design idea and evolution of a concept Ability to provide professional guidance to design and construction teams

Essential Skills




Educated to at least RIBA Part 3 level Have experience in design and delivery of live projects Good interpersonal skills to include an understanding of the sensitivities when communicating with and presenting to clients Excellent communication skills Ability to balance workload as the role will require you to focus on more than one project at a time Strong Revit and Enscape skills would be an advantage Knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign Demonstrable experience of collating and organising design submissions, technical information, preparing drawings, plans and documents and report / spec writing
