Job Description
Are you calm in a crisis? Can you understand the message behind a child\'s behaviour? and are you able to \xe2\x80\x9cthink on your feet\xe2\x80\x9d? If so, we are seeking dynamic individuals to come and join us on our recently expanded Rapid Response Team.
Part funded by the NHS and with close links to Family Safeguarding - Our overall aim is to minimise the risk of family breakdown, by offering support at the point of crisis, through a range of appropriate, joined up, creative and timely interventions to families as well as individual children, parents, and carers.
Within the Rapid Response Team, no two days will be the same and as such you will need to be able to remain calm under pressure and able to adapt to the changing pace and situations - but that\'s what makes the role so dynamic! We work closely with our colleagues in Social Care, the Police and Mental Health Services to ensure children are supported in the most appropriate way - often thinking collaboratively and outside of the box to come up with ways to achieve this.
Requirements
- You will need to be flexible and work on a rota system, covering some unsociable hours, weekends, evenings, and bank holidays, as well as some regular office-based hours. - But in exchange there is currently an extra payment for working weekends and out of hours.
- Experience of working with children &/or families
- Computer literacy
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
