We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant with some basic understanding of fish keeping to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sales operations, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service while assisting with various sales-related tasks. Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring that merchandise is well-displayed and stocked and that all tanks are clean and tidy. Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale. Handle customer inquiries, providing knowledgeable information about products and live stock. Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and conducting regular stock checks.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the pet/aquatic industry is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn about products and services offered. Basic proficiency in using point-of-sale systems or similar technology is advantageous.

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
