The Opportunity



The opportunity at SMC is exciting for individuals passionate about engineering and curious about the manufacturing industry. As an apprentice, youll benefit from the support of dedicated line managers, colleagues, and an Apprenticeship Manager to guide your development and provide valuable opportunities.


Located in Milton Keynes, you will balance learning at a training provider 1-2 days per week with hands-on experience in the workplace to consolidate your knowledge and skills.

About you



Youll be able to demonstrate your interest in engineering through hobbies (car mechanics, fixing your bike etc..) and possible work experience. The successful applicant will have a strong desire to learn, good attention to detail, be organised and able to manage their time and own workload. Good communication and team working skills are essential.



Entry Requirements



At minimum, you must have completed your GCSEs with grades 4 upwards in English, Maths and a Science subject.


Training provided
