Job description
Apprentice Opportunities - Business Administration & IT, Hull
Willerby - it\'s our name and is a core component of who we are. We\'re so proud of our legacy and to have grown from manufacturing in a tiny village nearby to our 90-acre site in Hull today. Our goal has always been and always will be dedication to detail and creating a quality product.
Willerby is the UK market leader in the manufacture of caravans and lodges and is now in its 77th year of trading. With continuing high levels of interest in staycations and holiday homes, the business is in a strong market with a large order book and has made major investments to support further increases in market share and competitiveness.
We have a long-standing commitment to growing our own talent through apprenticeships and increasing the skills base in the local area.
We\'re welcoming new apprentices to the business this September and we\'re pleased to be announcing further opportunities to join this cohort in 2023.
Are you aged 16 or over and looking for an opportunity to gain a qualification alongside earning a wage?
Perhaps you opted to stay in full-time education following the completion of your GCSEs, but you\'d now like to explore an apprenticeship opportunity instead.
We\'re on the lookout for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals in apprenticeship roles within business administration and IT functions.
What\'s involved?
You will join us in hands-on role (full-time Monday to Friday) with 20% of this time being spent in off-the-job training as part of the apprenticeship, either at college or with a training provider.
You will gain exposure to business systems and processes, engage with a wide range of stakeholders to strengthen your communication skills, and take an integral role in supporting business activities and projects.
We have opportunities across IT/Data, Marketing, Sales & Customer Care and Operations Support.
You will report to a dedicated line manager who will be experienced in their field and support you in setting achievable targets to develop your skillset within the workplace.
Achieve a qualification while earning a wage!
You will study towards a Level 3 qualification (A Level equivalent) over a period of 12 to 18 months and have the benefit of flexible off-the-job training methods, meaning you won\'t need to regularly travel to different locations while you study.
