This is a chance for you!
You will develop your skills in a hands-on role, gaining a nationally recognised City and Guilds Level 3 Dental Nursing Diploma and earn whilst you learn with our dedicated in-house training team.
What will you study?
- Cross infection and Anatomy
- Oral hygiene and Orthodontics
- Legislation
- Health and Safety, First aid and much more!
You will complete on and off the job training, being fully supported throughout, progressing to gateway and endpoint assessment.
What will you work on?
A dental nurse supports the practice in all aspects of patient care, this includes:
- getting the appropriate instruments ready, mixing materials and ensuring patient comfort.
- working closely with the dentists and therapists.
- and once the patient has left, the dental nurse prepares the surgery for the next patient.
In general practice, sometimes the dental nurse may help with reception work - making appointments, taking payments, dealing with paperwork. Everyday is different and we want You to feel proud of your work!
