Join Aon as a Cyber Consulting graduate and become a vital part of Aon\xe2\x80\x99s Cyber Solutions team where you will be exposed to a range of industries, business contexts, technical environments, and enterprise networks, working alongside our experienced consultants.

We recognise the learning, development, and social value for our Early Career colleagues of being in the office environment from the start of their programme. All our graduates will spend most of their time in the office and occasional time working from home or a client site.

Cyber Solutions

Your role on the Cyber Consulting Graduate Programme :

Aon\xe2\x80\x99s Cyber Consulting Graduate programme is rotational, and you will be immersed in projects covering all key areas of cyber risk consulting and information security, including:

• Threat intelligence
• Incident response (reactively working with an organisation in response to a cyber-attack)
• eDiscovery (helping companies interrogate data for key information and facts, or make disclosures)
• Proactive security testing (spotting vulnerabilities and defending organisations against adversaries) and advisory (identifying security risks and working on improving the client\xe2\x80\x99s cyber resilience)
• Cyber risk quantification and consulting (assessing organizations\xe2\x80\x99 cyber risk exposure and modelling probable cyber loss scenarios, advising clients around cyber risk financing strategies)

You\xe2\x80\x99ll have exposure to several other areas of our business, to give you a well-rounded understanding of Aon. We\xe2\x80\x99ll also give you the chance to work on a range of real-world security and cyber risk situations. One day you might be chasing malicious hackers through a client\xe2\x80\x99s network; the next, analysing messaging apps on an iPhone, or advising clients on how to make better decisions when it comes to their cyber risk posture.

Our clients span all sorts of industries too, including financial services, healthcare, retail, hospitality, technology and communications, entertainment and more. As a Cyber Solutions Graduate you will work across a rand of client consulting services including:

Investigations and Response (Digital forensics and incident response, eDiscovery and intelligence)

• Recover, preserve and analyse digital evidence in one of our twelve innovative forensic laboratories
• Uncover computer-enabled theft, leaks of confidential business information, mass or targeted deletions
• Respond to data breaches, APT attacks, cyber extortion, malicious code, botnets, economic espionage, ransomware and other cyber incidents
• Hunt for indicators of compromise and other malicious activity and vulnerabilities within an environment, and analyse irregular network traffic
• Process large and/or complex data sets to extract their content and file information, to make the data searchable and reviewable in depth and at scale

Security Advisory

• Monitor environments to identify and prioritise cyber threats
• Perform technical, information, application and physical security risk assessments
• Conduct cyber threat simulations and recommend solutions to secure vulnerabilities

Security Testing

• Perform penetration testing on web and mobile applications, as well as network penetration testing (external and internal) to include vulnerability exploitation and pivoting to gain remote system access
• Conduct application source code review
• Complete vulnerability research and exploit development

Cyber Risk Consulting

• Assess organisations\xe2\x80\x99 cyber risk exposure and model probable scenarios, using insights from our data analytics to direct and strengthen our client\xe2\x80\x99s case to invest in information security, business continuity, and cyber insurance.
• Through modelling of cyber loss scenarios and stress testing current insurance limits, advise clients on how their existing risk \xef\xac\x81nancing strategies can be enhanced to effectively address cyber threats.
• Conduct cyber due diligence to identify potential threats to the value of a client\xe2\x80\x99s investment, providing the insight needed to make sound decisions.

Your Development

As an Aon Graduate, you will be enrolled onto our Launch Programme when you join. This development programme is built around the following core elements:

• Business learning \xe2\x80\x93 on the job learning and experiences giving you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and understanding of the team and solution line you have joined.
• Centralised learning - UK graduates complete in an Aon Induction, monthly webinars, business skills training and workshops; all designed to help you develop your knowledge of Aon, build your confidence and your network across our business.

Your career beyond your Graduate programme

Once you\xe2\x80\x99ve completed the formal 9 month rotational graduate programme you will be moved into a permanent role within our Cyber Consulting teams. We will continue to support technical and business skills training. To aid your professional development you\xe2\x80\x99ll receive regular performance feedback, and work with your line manager towards promotions, enabling you to continue to progress.

• You will need to have or be on track to achieve a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a STEM related subject area (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
