Anti-Social Behaviour Officer

About the role

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Officer to join our Housing team.

Working alongside the Housing Officers, you will be responsible for:

  • Taking the lead in providing a responsive and customer focused ASB case management service to Hightowns residents
  • investigating and responding to ASB reports in line with policies and procedures
  • Liaising and developing relationships with our partners to resolve ASB
  • Using the tools and powers available to you to resolve complex ASB cases including intervention and enforcement actions
  • Preparing legal cases and representing Hightown in legal proceedings
  • Signposting residents to appropriate service providers for support and tenancy sustainment
The successful candidate will:
  • Be an excellent communicator both orally and in writing
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills be able to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Have good knowledge of the relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and best practice in ASB management
  • Have excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
  • Be resilient in dealing with difficult situations

About Us
