What you will do...

We are looking for a focussed and reliable individual who will:

• Analyse customer-related AML intelligence screening alerts to identify positive matches and establish any reasonable grounds for suspicion of money laundering.
• Propose new alerts and/or tuning of existing alert configurations.
• Conduct High-Risk customer reviews and research including reviewing account activity for red flag indicators and utilising additional external sources.
• Review the results of updates to Sanction, Embargo and PEP lists and analyse outputs of ongoing screening systems in relation to payment accounts and fund transfer transactions (both inbound and outbound) in a timely and effective manner.
• Raise Suspicious Activity Reports where money-laundering concerns are present and escalate in a timely-manner.

• Respond to queries following Senior AML Investigator and/or Manager delegation.
• Undertake some project work that may include reviews of existing systems and controls.

Requirements:

• Have a keen interest in current anti-money laundering trends and typologies.
• Be comfortable independently making sound judgement-based decisions that can have significant potential impact on the business and customers.
• Be great at explaining things to people and have flawless written English.
• Be proficient in the management of numerous data streams and be able to analyse data to draw appropriate and relevant conclusions.
• Have a high level of integrity, confidentiality and ownership.

Beneficial, although not essential:

Experience in sanction, PEP, adverse media screening.
