Advanced Clinical Practitioner

Are you an Advanced Clinical Practitioner? We are looking for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to support our Community Care - Intermediate care homes in Southport.


Salary: 15768-19067


Location: Southport


Shifts: Wednesdays 9am-1pm, Fridays 8am- 3:30pm



What will I be doing

Provide high quality holistic clinical care, using skills and experience in accordance with the NMC's Good Medical Practice (2024), demonstrating care, compassion, dignity and respect at all times Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to facilitate the safe and timely admission, rehabilitation and discharge of patients Provide medical oversight and support for the assessment, treatment and management of patients within the PC24 bed base Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions, integrating both drug and non-drug-based treatment methods into a management plan. Prescribe and review medication for therapeutic effectiveness, appropriate to patient needs and in accordance with evidence-based practice and national/local protocols and within scope of practice. Work with patients to support compliance with and adherence to prescribed treatments. Provide information and advice on prescribed or over-the-counter medication on medication regimens, side-effects, and interactions.

What do I need

Full NMC Registration with no restrictions MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice Non-Medical Prescriber - V300 Clinical Examination and Diagnostics Level 7 Experience of working in urgent care and/or primary care
