About the Role:



The Brand Insights Analyst will support enterprise-level market research projects and ongoing brand perception monitoring activities. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to build quantitative research skills and analytical abilities while learning about a wide range of markets and disciplines. Additionally, you'll help elevate the work done by the Insights teams at Wiley by driving the evolution of the Wiley Insights Center, a key resource relied upon by colleagues across the company.



This position is a new role that sits within the Product Marketing Team and reports to the Senior Manager, Brand Insights. It requires a strong critical thinker who enjoys finding solutions to problems and is eager to collaborate and contribute ideas. Attention to detail and accuracy are also critical for success in this role. This role would be perfect for someone who wants to increase their market research skills and gain hands-on experience in running projects with the ultimate goal of becoming Market Research Manager.



How you will make an impact:



Enhancing the Wiley Insights Center-our knowledgebase that brings together primary research, news, and insights-via: + Highlighting news and developments that are relevant to Wiley businesses
+ Co-authoring the weekly newsletter that is distributed to 4,000+ employees, including senior leadership
+ Identifying and implementing improvements to site design/functionality
+ Creating initiatives to drive increased use of the Insights Center across Wiley
Supporting the Senior Manager, Brand insights with major enterprise-level research projects, including: + Managing projects and timelines
+ Designing, executing, and analyzing primary research with guidance of the Senior Manager, Brand Insights
+ Managing any insights communities/panels for ongoing research and thought leadership needs-including planning out a research calendar, communications, incentives, sharing results back to the community, etc.
+ Managing and strengthening relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring alignment with business needs and efficient delivery of services
+ Coordinating post-project collaboration with teams to ensure actioning of key insights
Contributing to our ongoing tracking of the Wiley brand and our body of knowledge around competitors and markets + Assisting in updates and project management for our twice-yearly brand tracking study
+ Identifying when/how insights from ongoing social listening should be incorporated into reporting on brand performance
+ Leveraging data from sources other than surveys to build up our body of competitive intelligence
Identifying and analyzing emerging trends that could impact Wiley's customers, markets, etc.

What we look for:



Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent experience Strong analytical skills Ability to analyze quantitative survey data Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel Data visualization skills-able to communicate results effectively through charts Experience drafting questionnaires and interview guides Highly organized with strong project management skills Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities while giving excellent attention to detail Fluency in English is required
Preferred qualifications


Experience with survey programming Qualtrics experience Experience using SPSS, R, or Q for analyzing survey data Any familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus
