Business Analyst
Glasgow or Northampton

As a Barclays Business Analyst this is your chance to bridge the gap between IT and the business data. You will take on the responsibility for the leadership of BA activities across multiple departments and will liaise with staff of all levels to accomplish joint business objectives. What will you be doing?

• You will be responsible for the leadership of business analysis activities for Transaction Monitoring solutions, assisting the Programme Manager in accomplishing goals
• Partnering with Transaction Monitoring Product Owners in Financial Crime, Operations, leading end-to-end business analysis and change management activities
• Interpreting and documenting business requirements, producing deliverables for all change phases whilst identifying and communicating any constraints or limitations
• Driving strategic direction for activities, in the form of principles, guidance, or approach, as required
• Upholding and advancing all programme/project governance processes, as required
• Providing regular progress updates for any standalone initiatives, where responsible

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• Experience of working within a global environment, managing end-to-end change across multiple business lines as a Business Analyst
• You will have experience of balancing multiple initiatives, whilst successfully achieving targets and milestones
• Experience or working within governance frameworks and processes
• Previous experience with SQL and data analysis

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Proven analytical ability within project or change management and/or business analysis
• Relevant change or BA based qualifications
• Educated to IT degree level
• Experience of gathering anti-money laundering requirements and/ or defining business processes

The office location is perfect for travel from the midlands and London alike as we are based just off the A45, it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
