Ambient Warehouse Team Manager - Willenhall Depot



Starting 29,128 - rising to 31,489 depending on experience + 1.49 p/hour Night allowance



Rotating Shifts 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm



1 in 3 weekends




We are looking for an experienced

Team Manager in our Ambient Warehouse operation

,

who is motivated, friendly, hard-working and passionate. The ideal candidate has the drive and motivation to support and engage a diverse team. You will be required to support and assist the Operations Manager with the organisation and control of efficient and profitable operations within the depot.

Some Key Accountabilities



To support the Operations Manager with the supervision of effective operations and adherence to H&S legislation To carry out supervisory tasks as required by the Operations Manager To cover areas of operations when low on resources as requested by the Operations Manager to ensuring consistent operational performance To ensure effective operations in the temporary absence of the Operations Manager The assist with staff scheduling, including absence management and performance To assist the Operations Manager in the effective use and maintenance of all equipment and machinery

Some Key Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required



Good level of Maths and English and working knowledge of Microsoft programmes- Word and Excel is desirable Warehousing experience essential Excellent communication skills and the capacity to build good working relationships with colleagues and customers Strong organisation and time management skills essential Ability to deal with conflict in an effective and professional manner Shows a commitment to ongoing personal development and training, always striving to improve

First line Management experience and e

xperience

in managing people in a food distribution environment is essential



IT Literate and knowledge of using a WMS system would be an advantage
