Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate A-level Law Tutor to provide educational support to students in various subjects. The ideal candidate must have experience tutoring the AQA exam board for A-level Law and ideally has completed AQA A-level Law themselves with a Grade A minimum.

Duties

Educate students in specific subjects, ensuring understanding and retention of material. Develop individualised lesson plans that cater to the unique learning styles and needs of each student. Provide support and guidance to students with special educational needs, adapting teaching methods accordingly. Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to enhance learning outcomes. Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding academic performance and areas for improvement. Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes confidence and motivation in learning. Maintain records of student progress and attendance for reporting purposes.

Requirements

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children. Strong understanding of special education principles and practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students and parents. Ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed academically. Relevant qualifications in education or a related field are preferred but not mandatory.
