Holt Executive are supporting a leader in the global aerospace industry. Our client provides MRO services and is the principal aircraft repair and overhaul service in Europe. They are currently recruiting Aircraft Base Maintenance Technicians to play a key role at their hangar located in the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities for the Aircraft Base Maintenance Technician:

• Agreeing targets and milestones with the Check Manager.
• Certifying specific aircraft types on their QA044 Staff Authorisation Document.
• In the event a Check Manager is not available, and that the B1 or B2 Certifying Engineers has Category C privilege and not certified any document during that input, may be requested to act as a C Cert to release to service specific aircraft types within the scope of limitations their QA044 Staff Authorisation Document
• Coordination of all staff within their work area, drawing up and allocating a daily work plan to deliver their zone and work area to the agreed schedule.
• Monitor performance against plan, and provide regular briefings, guidance, and support to allocated staff as required to deliver the plan.
• Management of a defined \xe2\x80\x98zone\xe2\x80\x99 of work to deliver the maintenance task to schedule and be accountable for the technical integrity of all work carried out under their control.

Essential Knowledge and Skills required by the Aircraft Base Maintenance Technician:

• Part 66 Licence B1, B2 or B1/B2.
• Indentured apprenticeship or equivalent in an aviation engineering or similar mechanical engineering field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a technician.
• Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and be flexible to meet changing working requirements
• Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Full UK Driving license Essential.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications.
