Job Description
Alchemy is partnering with an established and successful Fine Art Shipping and Logistics organisation in London and supporting them in their search for a Fine Art Export Operator.
Responsibilities:
- Work to improve and expand the efforts of the Export Department and Team.
- Actively seek out new customers and markets.
- Manage and oversee all export and international exhibition processes.
- Stay current on all HMRC and other legislation as well as company policies in order to accurately complete all required paperwork and maintain all records.
- Make sure that all necessary preparations are completed for export and exhibition shipments; to this end, coordinate with clients and work with the transport packing, and storage departments.
- Ensure that all quotes are provided promptly, and all shipments are timely invoiced.
- Guaranteeing that every client receives all pertinent copy documents and is updated about every stage of their shipments.
- Visit clients locally, nationally, and globally to promote the company, while building new networks and business.
- Previous experience within the Fine Art Shipping field is beneficial.
- Knowledge of export and customs procedures is essential.
- Excellent skills in time management, customer service, communication, problem-solving, attention to detail and prioritizing.
- Great technical proficiency, knowledge including PC, iOS, Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
