Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join our Facilities Management team based in Eccles and covering a number of police stations across the Greater Manchester area. This is a full-time mobile position working from 7am to 4pm, 40 hours p/week.

The role:

• Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager
• To carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks in line with the contract service delivery plan for VRF, split system refrigeration & associated equipment across the company profile
• To carry out new air conditioning works as required i.e. minor new works, refurbishment and capital works replacement programme
• To investigate, trouble shoot and rectify defects in all chiller systems and associated plant/components or if unable to do so, commissioning BYES Solutions\' external staff or subcontractors to rectify the defects
• Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm with a one hour unpaid lunch break, plus participation in the on call rota

The person:

• Must hold a level 2 qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (C&G or equivalent)
• Must be F Gas qualified (City and Guilds 2079-11/12Level or CITB J11/12)
• Essential to have AC split systems and/or Chiller experience
• Proven track record of building services work or trade based knowledge in a similar environment
• Must be able to achieve and retain relevant vetting clearance required by the client
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Sound IT skills including CAFM experience, or similar
• Full driving licence as travel to various sites across the contract will be required and a company van will be provided
