Agriculture Solicitor

Job Description
We are currently working with a well regarded law firm looking to recruit a full time Solicitor at their Malton office with specialist agricultural knowledge who can advise clients in relation to the full spectrum of agricultural work including:
- Advising landlords and tenants on the grant/renewal of Farm Business Tenancies, Agricultural Holdings Act Tenancies and Grazing Licences.
- Advising sellers and purchasers in relation to the purchase disposal of agricultural properties and/or businesses.
- Separate representation for lenders in relation to establishing security for funding requests.
- Advising clients in a range of development agreements, such as option agreements, easements and clawback agreements.
- Any ad hoc and ancillary matter relating to agricultural property
- Raising appropriate enquiries and considering documentation.
- Drafting correspondence and documentation.
- Dealing with agents, solicitors, clients and other individuals in the transaction.
- Ensuring the transaction runs as smoothly and quickly as appropriate for the situation.
- Legal research where required.
The candidate would also need to have the experience required to be easily marketable to agricultural agents, lenders and clients alike.
