Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Agricultural/Horticultural Service Engineer to join our team based in Larkhall. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of agricultural and horticultural machinery. It will be the maintaining and improvement of our own in house equipment. A company van is provided for site visits, and overtime is regularly available at enhanced rates. This role will cover both our Larkhall depot and our Arbroath depot.

Key Responsibilities:

- Service, repair and maintain agricultural & horticulutral equipment including tractors, sprayers, vehicles, side arm mowers, mini tractors, ride on mowers, walk behind mowers, strimmers, chainsaws and other machinery
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults where possible

- Welding experience is highly advantageous
- Attend breakdowns and perform on-site repairs for our teams throughout central Scotland
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate service records and complete job sheets
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety policies

Requirements:

- Proven experience in agricultural, plant, or heavy machinery servicing and repair
- Strong diagnostic skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Land-Based Engineering or similar preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong work ethic with a flexible approach to working hours

Pay: 15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
